At European Youth Parliament Armenia (EYP AM), our mission is centered around empowering the Armenian youth and preparing them to become future leaders through non-formal education. Since our inception in 2012, we have been dedicated to fostering active citizenship, intercultural dialogue, and personal development among young individuals.

 

Our primary goal is to raise awareness of European issues and encourage active engagement in European politics among the youth. We believe that by promoting international understanding and diversity of ideas, we can equip young Armenians with the knowledge and skills needed to address global challenges. Through our educational projects and initiatives, we create a platform for the exchange of ideas, experiences, and democratic values.

By fostering a culture of active citizenship and community involvement, we aim to contribute to the success stories of the Armenian youth. Through our extensive network and community engagement, we can encourage young Armenians to bring forth strategic development and drive positive change in our society.

Activities

European Youth Parliament Armenia (EYP AM) is an organization deeply committed to nurturing active European citizenship, fostering intercultural dialogue, and cultivating European values among the Armenian youth. Since its inception in 2012, EYP AM has consistently organized a variety of impactful events and initiatives tailored to the needs of our local community. EYP Sessions: Our flagship events, the EYP sessions, are organized with meticulous care and dedication. Each session follows a proven methodology, encompassing three critical phases: Teambuilding, Committee Work, and the General Assembly. During these sessions, delegates immerse themselves in discussions of current European and global issues, seeking to find solutions and drafting resolutions.

 

EYP AM provides a platform for young Armenians to express their opinions, develop critical thinking skills, and learn about the world around them. Cultural Programs: We understand the importance of celebrating diversity and fostering cross-cultural understanding. Our Cultural Program includes events like the Eurovillage, and Euroconcert. These events allow participants to engage with different cultures, exchange experiences, and showcase their artistic talents. Through these activities, we create an environment that promotes unity and shared experiences among the youth. Regional and National Selection Conferences: EYP AM extends its reach through Regional and National Selection Conferences. These events serve as gateways for young individuals to experience the essence of EYP and get a taste of our organization's essence. The Regional Selection Conferences introduce new members to our community and expand our presence to new regions. Meanwhile, the National Selection Conference offers a competitive platform for delegates to earn their spots at international sessions, representing Armenia on a global stage. International Sessions: The pinnacle of our efforts lies in the International Sessions, where we host around 300 young participants from various European countries.

 

These sessions provide a platform for international collaboration, knowledge sharing, and intercultural exchange. Notably, EYP AM organized the largest youth conference in Armenia, the Yerevan International Session in 2019, making a significant mark on our nation's youth development landscape.

 

Knowledge-Sharing Events: In addition to our signature sessions, we host annual training sessions, round-table discussions, and panel talks. These events offer young Armenians the opportunity to learn from experts, engage in informed debates, and expand their horizons.
